Consent in Terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act

1.1. Consent in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act: I acknowledge that REVOLUTION 39 (PTY) LTD, trading as Fatbet (referred to as Fatbet), may need to process my personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act No. 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”). By clicking “I accept,” I hereby give my consent to Fatbet to process my personal information for the purpose of fulfilling its agreement with me. I also acknowledge that Fatbet may obtain personal information from third parties to fulfill its agreement with me, and I consent to the collection and processing of such information.

1.2. I also acknowledge that Fatbet may share my personal information with its subsidiaries and holding companies, and I consent to such sharing. Fatbet will delete or de-identify my personal information if I cease to be a customer and when it is no longer necessary. I understand my right to access and correct the personal information collected. Additionally, I accept and consent to the possibility of undergoing an identity check by Fraudcheck when betting on any retail or online platform.

1.3. I acknowledge that Fatbet may be required to transfer my personal information to locations outside of South Africa. Such transfers will comply with the applicable local laws relevant to the source of the information. However, it may result in the transfer of personal information to a jurisdiction that does not provide the same or a higher level of data protection compared to South Africa. I agree that my consent extends to include such transfers if required or necessary.

1.4. In accordance with POPIA, Fatbet is obliged to provide you with certain information regarding the processing of your personal information at the time of collection.

1.5. Therefore, we advise as follows:

1.5.4. We may be required to share your personal information with Fatbet affiliates (subsidiaries or holding companies) and third parties located outside of South Africa. 1.5.5. You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal information, as well as the right to object to the processing of your personal information.

1.5.6. We will delete or de-identify personal information collected from you when it is no longer required to be retained.
